TGIFoster Friday! Meet Hope, a seven month old lab mix, she has a wonderful heart and an inspiring story. She came in as a 3 month old puppy, with her sister who weighed three times as much as Hope did. Hope immediately went to foster care where it was evident something was wrong, she couldnt keep down food and was having trouble breathing. She was diagnosed with a Persistent Right Aortic Arch which prevented food to get past the esophagus. This meant Hope had likely not gotten much food to her stomach throughout her life. This condition was treatable with surgery and luckily the CSU Vet Teaching Hospital jumped on board and now she has a bright future in front of her and is just looking for her perfect home!
