THANK GOD its not Jonthan Crane... Scarecrow didnt show up until Bruce was Batman, obviously. In Worlds Finest Comics #3 (1941), so Crane should be around the same age range as Bruce, but a little younger. Now, his father as the original Scarecrow is a VERY interesting idea, Cranes father left him when before he was even born, leaving Cranes grandmother his guardian. So, its interesting that they are using his father as the original Scarecrow since we dont know anything about his father. So, probably Crane in this version of Gotham will dawn the Scarecrow mantel in the future. Thats exciting, fresh, and awesome. If Jonathan Crane was Scarecrow in this show now, I would have boycotted Gotham. Not kidding, but Bruno Heller and the creators are doing an EXCELLENT job with this show. They are handling these characters very well and with much care, they know how much these characters mean to people and how iconic they are. So, in my opinion they are doing a SUPER job with this show, and I look VERY much forward to the future of this amazing show!!!!!!
