THANK YOU FOR THE BROKEN HEART Part Eight Itd been a long week, so the boys and I started the weekend off by dining out. It was a little different this time, because the girls came with which was good for a change. I took Gospel, Eric came with Angel, Ice came with Sophia and Orlando well he came by himself. After introducing Gospel to the girls they decided to change seating arrangements so that they were all on one side and we were all on the other. I didnt know how quick girls became friends until the three of them hit it off, but none of us complained. This was a good sign that wed chosen the right ones. Orlando even took the time out to join in the conversation. Laughs were being passed around the table when Orlando kicked me in the shin Ex-factor at 9:00..From the corner of my eye I noticed a familiar face staring right our way. Eric and Ice followed and it wasnt till we heard Ice swear that I looked up only to see Chanelle making a beeline for our table. By then everyone had gone silent. Angel and Sophia looked as if they were ready to go to war. I cant say I was happy to see Chanelle cause I wasnt. The night was going great till she showed up. No-one said a word. Chanelle: If Id known you were gonna be here I woulda dressed for the occasion Me: If Id known you were gonna be here I wouldnt have come Chanelle smirked and took that time to look around the table Hi boys. Long time no see. Orlando: Yeah well not long enough! Chanelle: I know you missed me Lando.. Never know. Maybe if youre good you might just get lucky tonight Orlando: Id rather drown myself in a sea full of sh*t! I was just about to tell her to leave when Gospel interrupted Sorry to be rude..But you are??. The look on Chanelles face was priceless. All of a sudden everyone looked as if they couldnt wait to see what shed do. Chanelle: The names Chanelle.. Gospel: Is that meant to mean something? Chanelle: Im Devons ex Gospel: Ooooh.. Youre THAT Chanelle... Its nice to FINALLY meet the girl who threw it all away for some dickies...Bet it sucks to be you right now huh? Chanelle: Not really.. Anyways I didnt catch your name Gospel: Thats cause I didnt give it Chanelle: Wow..Arent you just a big ball of sociable. Gospel didnt really care. It was like she wasnt paying attention to anything Chanelle was saying. Me: Chanelle meet Gospel..My gf Chanelle: Your gf? Me: Thats what I just said didnt I? Chanelle: Obviously you still have bad taste in girls. Why you would lower your standards is beyond me, but hey Im not complaining Gospel: Now now Hoe-nelle... Do I sense a bit of jealousy coming off you?? Chanelle: Snitch please. Jealous these. Ive been there and Ive done that..Countless times..Youre not the first girl to go there with Dev and you definitely wont be the last. Gospel: By the sounds of it you look as if you wish you were STILL there..Thats ok. Dreams are free. Chanelle: Why would I dream when I can have the real thing? Devons not something to brag about if you know what I mean! Gospel: You must be mistaking Dev for someone else.. Now im not the violent type nor have I ever been but insult my bf again and youre gonna find my foot down your throat!!! You couldve heard a pin drop.. Shizz just got real and I was torn between grabbing Gospel and running out and sittin there watching to see what happens. I chose the latter. Gospel had somehow managed to get to the front of our table so that she was standing infront of me. I wanted to push her behind me protectively just seeing how tiny she was compared to Chanelle. I put my hand on her waist and she turned and gave me that ace of a smile before turning back to face Chanelle. Chanelle saw that and found it to be the perfect timing to stir more trouble. Chanelle: You dont need to defend your man. He is more than capable of fighting his own battles. Gospel: Youre right..I dont need to defend my man, but I WANT to... Because unlike you..Hes worth it Chanelle: Yeah?? Well lets hope he thinks the same of you.. Hes a use and abuse kinda guy. He might have them diseases if you know what I mean. Hes a walking S.T... *smack* Chanelles head flew back from the impact of Gospels right hook.
