THANK YOU to all who participated in the adoption of the Wedgewood Nursing Home for Christmas! To those who adopted a patient (angel), to the kids who helped give out the snacks and gifts, to our song leaders, to the parents who brought their kids to share this Christmas memory, we give thanks. Special thanks to Bonnie McKee and Paul Glenn for the hours of preparation. Also to Santa Claus and the Grinch for bringing smiles and laughter to some lonely people. The looks of anticipation as we brought in the cookies and gifts, the smiles as we sang Christmas songs (some who could only sing with their eye movements), the joy in their faces as gifts were presented by beautiful children after their names were called out by Santa, the laughter as the Grinch shared her story - all made for a memorable Christmas celebration. THANK YOU ALL!!!
