THANK YOU to everyone who helped make tonights launch of WRITING MATTERS so successful. What a great crowd: lively, engaged, appreciative. My personal bar was that we had to have 50 people in order for me to continue: we had 68 lovely souls in attendance. I am so heartened by things you told me afterward, the way you enjoyed the evening, the way you are on board for having more events. So! The next event will be in September, and Ill be telling you more details soon. Leah, tonights author, said this was the best signing she ever had. You all did that. My heart is STILL full. I think Magic Tree will end up with more than $300 for their fund for school libraries in need. You did that, too. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
