THE 7 SEALS – GOD’S JUDGMENT’S – SOON The TRIBULATION is the period of time that FOLLOWS the RAPTURE of all BORN AGAIN Christians to be with JESUS CHRIST in the AIR. It is a PERIOD of TIME that is described in the book of REVELATION and in DANIEL. The TRIBULATION period will last 7 YEARS and be divided into 2 x THREE and a HALF year periods. It is a time on earth that will witness the MOST HORRIFIC and HORRENDOUS PLAGUES and CALAMITIES in the history of mankind. These plagues are GOD’S JUDGMENTS upon man for their SIN and DISOBEDIENCE. The book of Revelation tells us that they will come in 3 SERIES of EVENTS: 7 SEAL judgments, 7 TRUMPET judgments, 7 BOWL judgments. The judgments get progressively WORSE and more DEVASTATING as the end times progress. The FIRST FOUR of the seven seals are known as the FOUR HORSEMEN of the Apocalypse: • The FIRST seal introduces the ANTICHRIST (Revelation 6:1-2). • The SECOND seal causes GREAT WARFARE (Revelation 6:3-4). • The THIRD of the seven seals causes FAMINE (Revelation 6:5-6). • The FOURTH seal brings about PLAGUE, further FAMINE, and further WARFARE (Revelation 6:7-8). • The FIFTH seal tells us of those who will be MARTYRED for their FAITH in CHRIST during the TRIBULATION (Revelation 6:9-11). • When the SIXTH of the seven seals is broken, a DEVASTATING EARTHQUAKE occurs, causing massive upheaval and TERRIBLE DEVASTATION — along with unusual astronomical phenomena (Revelation 6:12-14). Those who SURVIVE the TRIBULATION are right to cry out: “And said to the mountains and rocks, FALL on us, and HIDE us from the FACE of HIM that sitteth on the THRONE, and from the WRATH of the LAMB: For the great day of His WRATH is come; and WHO shall be able to STAND”? (Revelation 6:16-17).
