THE ANONIMUL INTERNATIONAL INDEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL WILL BE TAKING PLACE, EXCEPTIONALLY THIS YEAR, IN BUCHAREST The 11th edition of the ANONIMUL International Independent Film Festival will be taking place, exceptionally this year, in Bucharest, 12th to 17th August, maintaining the same Danube Delta atmosphere and the idea of escaping the city to see good films in a special setting. As the traditional Festival location, the Dolphin Camping Hollyday Resort in Sfantu Gheorghe, is under renovation and will not be opening this year, ANONIMUL 11 will be bringing the Danube Delta and the Festival atmosphere to Bucharest, offering an oasis of peace, nature, films, concerts, worksops and Q&As to the festival audience. ANONIMUL 11 will be taking place 12th to 17th August at Verde Stop (no 162-164 Barbu Vacarescu Street, sector 2), with free entrance to the screenings, as always. The Festival program maintains its structure, featuring the international panorama (feature films awarded at important film festivals in 2014, homages, retrospectives), the Romanian OFF section and the ANONIMUL competition- feature film, short fiction and short animation. Submissions for the Short Film Competition ran March 31st to May 31st, and the final selection will be done by film critic Irina-Margareta Nistor, out of over 450 films submitted from 35 countries. The Feature Film Competition will be presenting the titles set forth by the official Festival selector, Ludmila Cvikova - Head of International Programming at the Doha Film Institute. The Competition lineup will be announced late July. The ANONIMUL Trophy and other Festival prizes as well, will be awarded by the festival audience, by public vote. The 11th edition of the ANONIMUL International Independent Film Festival, organized by the Anonimul Foundation, will be taking place 12th to 17th August at Verde Stop, Bucharest.
