I don’t know why this ‘Agbalaga’ will not stop engaging his ‘Langba-Langba’ attitude; apology to none Yoruba speakers. I’m not writing this to rescue my good friend and personality that has for a very long time won my respect and admiration, AHMAD SUCCESS from the theatrical piece you titled “HAMED SUCCESS: THE EFFUSION OF AN EFFIGY”. Neither is this a rejoinder to it. As he has already told me on phone that he would not respond to your puerility and zero-substance piece. But for mentioning my name in that act of stupidity of yours, I won’t let go. Me? “Breaking the law of plagiarism”? You definitely don’t know what you are talking about. Why false accusation? You sure know that you were lying by including my name among those you tagged as plagiarists. Even theirs, you need to prove. If you’ve met Ahmad Success before, you will but definitely agree with me that he’s not in your class in terms of exposure. That you even referred to him as ‘invincible entity’ shows the extent to which you lack professionalism on the field you’re parading yourself to have mastered. You need to ask yourself why Segun Ayobolu of The Nation newspaper had to use the pen-name MARIJATA for years before bringing his real face and name to the public. Same goes for Tatalo Alamu of same paper. Wake up man! Why have I not asked of your picture all this while? It is because I understand the terrain. Much as I would have loved to maintain my respect for OBA ABU, your pay-master, your thinking that everybody should worship him like you simply because he gave you a juicy appointment doesn’t go down well with me. The same way he has helped you is same way the original ABS has helped those who are dying for him. That you are referring to his loyalists as ‘SLAVES’ doesn’t change the true picture. You will soon know me. Don’t disturb your brain. I was in BUK in the early 1990s and I knew the personality of OBA ABU right from when he was nobody. Just as the Late Saraki did in the 1970s, I knew that he had ambitions and that he was not doing what you now glorify him for without future political ambitions. You can see his level of desperations; fighting as if becoming the next governor of this state is his life. You better advise him. Age and health are fast telling on him. To have access to the resources of Kwara so that he can squander it like that of Unilorin should not be a do or die affair. Now I challenge all followers, loyalists and the ‘I’m ready to die’ for Oba Abu individuals and groups to (1) come forward and name a single PROJECT embarked upon and completed by this man when he was the VC of Unilorin for 5 years. Would you compare this shallow thinking man with the Erudite Oloyede, who transformed the system for good? (2) Name an institution or organization he ever ruled and increased their salaries. He rather decreased. (3) Is he a conflict manager? NO? So why in your wildest imagination you want this man to rule our dear state and unintelligently disrupt the good work of Alh. Abdulfatai Ahmed?
