THE BASTARDIZATION OF THE WORD EUGENICS I really get sick and tired when I hear this thoughtless and clichetic assertion being parroted over and over endlessly: Eugenics caused millions of deaths in the past. But was really eugenics what caused deaths ? TRUE EUGENICS only could be done with very DEEP KNOWLEDGE of ADVANCED ETHICS, BIOLOGY, GENETICS, EPIGENETICS, SYSTEMS THEORY and other important sciences. Decades ago, these sciences were either inexistent or in their very early stages ( and some of them are still in this situation now ). IDEOLOGY, usually, is based on absurd beliefs, scientific ignorance, nasty tribalism and many other bad instincts, therefore it could never achieve real eugenics. QUITE THE OPPOSITE ! Furthermore, Hitler and his followers were TOTALLY IGNORANT of these sciences and were guided only by a NASTY and STUPID IDEOLOGY. So, how he and his followers could possibly achieve anything that even remotely resembles genuine eugenics ? Moreover, real eugenics is based on benevolent and ethical genetic and epigenetic improvement of all individuals. A social system cannot improve humanity by killing or enslaving a considerable number of its members based on wrong, barbaric and stupid notions of racial superiority. Confusing these two radically opposite things as eugenics is a GROSS and UNFORGIVABLE COGNITIVE FAILURE. This mindless conceptual mistake has, probably, stigmatized and bastardized forever the otherwise useful word eugenics. Similar bastardization is happening also with the words freedom, democracy, etc. This is what INTELLECTUAL LAZINESS and LACK OF CRITICAL and SCIENTIFIC THINKING can cause to the meaning of words.
