( THE BEATITUDES.)continuation of part two: I couldnt exhaust this part two cos, i was trying to avoid a long note, i thank God for those of us that have a reading culture, but for some guys its not funny at all: So i like to see how we can do justice to the subject humility the point is that one cannot over emphasise on the subject humility, cos its an attribute of God: satan dont have it, the very day he lost it he was sent out of heaven. that suggest to me that aspiring to go to heaven without humility is a very big risk. But it takes humility for the Almighty God to be in heaven, He is a toomuch God. (Psm. 113:5-6.) and so He walks with the lowly in heart (Psm.138:6.) (Prov.3:34.) And Jesus said, ...learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls, (Matth.11:29.) No man will properly get to the place of prominence, and lifting in life and eternity without humility. (Prov.15:33.) (Prov.18:12.) (Prov.22:4.) Someone says can one be humble, and on the other hand be arogant? the answer is no: its not possible to have the two same time; humility is a positive force from God, while pride remains a negetive force of the devil. Besides, James said, a fountain cannot produce fresh water, and salt water same time. therefore pride is of the world. (1John 2:15-17.) No man was born with pride, its a spirit it can influence someone, thats why we ministers should be very careful and always mount a search light in our spirit to know when he comes in, most of the erring preachers today started well but due to I T K, nonchalancy and laxity, especially some of us who hardly sit down to hear another preacher, it is dangerous no matter your attainment in the ministry, you must humble yourself to hear from other men of God also for a balanced wisdom. if you cant sit to hear, you can read their books, sir pride must be dealt with else he deals with you. Satan was angel Lucifer until pride was found in him. (Isa.14:12-17.). Eve the first woman was brought down through the spirit of pride. (Gen.3:5-6.) The head of the first world empire Nebuchadnezer, became an animal in the bush eating grass because of pride. So be warned people of God, no man will have a glorious end in life and ministry when pride is in place. And that calls for constant self examination and repentance when he (pride) is discovered, thats humility. so we can rightly say with Apostle Paul, i am crucified with Christ, nevertheless i live..., i bring my body under. I die daily, And herein do i exercise myself: to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward man.(Acts 24:16). Friends & brethren, this beatitude can be a BE ATTITUDE IN YOU.
