THE BEST WAY TO END 2014!!! UNBELIEVABLY MOVING and AWE-INSPIRING MOMENT for Two Tailz Rescue, Our Founder, and the animals we rescue. SO WORTH THE READ of the pictures attached! From our Founder. I was recently asked why/how I started Two Tailz Rescue. There are many reasons - the primary one being that its what Im here on this earth to do. I am so clear about my purpose. For all of us who rescue........Rescue is a calling. It is a passion. It is about leaving this world a better place and taking care of the least of these. Rescue is time-consuming, inconvenient, heart-breaking, frustrating, emotionally-draining, and many other adjectives that conjure up that rescue is hard. Rescue is also, and most importantly, rewarding, heart-warming, soul-fulfilling, gratifying, and inspiring. The thankful look in a rescued dogs eyes, the smile on their faces as they feel the wind blow on their faces on their Freedom Rides to safety, the first wag of their tails when they know they are finally safe.....theres nothing like these gifts we receive in return. The gift I/Two Tailz received this Holiday season is one that I will never forget and one that will continue to propagate this rescues hard work to save more animals in 2015 and beyond. I received a package from a lady I have never met but am privileged to know through FB and call a true friend. Her name is Lisa Nageotte from NC. (Yes, Lisa, I am calling you out as one of those people who truly pay it forward!). Lisa, over the past couple of years. has written several private FB messages of support and thanks to our rescue, faithfully sent donations, and quietly mailed Starbucks gift cards (as much of our street dog rescue work is done very EARLY in the mornings or very LATE at nights) to our rescuers. Lisa has a 4th grader. This pictures below document the gift from Lisa Nageotte and her 4th Graders Writing Class. These cards and notes have truly moved me, brought me to tears, and reminded me that our hard rescue work matters. THANK YOU Lisa - your and the class gift is the most memorable this year. I am so grateful. THANK YOU to you all who have assisted Two Tailz Rescue in the rescue of all of our dogs this year. Happy New Yearz Eve!
