THE BIG L-O-V-E! LOVE!!! What is love? How do we identify love? How is manifested? I take my definition of love from John 3:16 For God so LOVED the world that He GAVE... This tells me that love gives. Im not talking about material things. I mean giving love, attention, companionship, compassion, affection, loyalty, fidelity, forgiveness... the list is endless. If a person claims to love you and they cant make time for you, dont have time to listen to you, cant be silent with you when you dont wanna talk, cant reassure you when you start doubting yourself, cant be there for you when life storms hit you, is always quick to spit venom at you, tells you Im sorry when what they mean is actually shut up, is quick to believe everybody but you...then it isnt love. It could be anything but love. God knows and understands our need to be loved thats why whenever you are lonely He is there to keep you company... Years back I was with 2 of my friends, talking about relationships n how complex they are. I told them that when a guys tells you he is coming you dont sleep. I told them that at times you hear a knock and rush to the door to open only to realize that it was all in your mind. You know what? Its not so with God. He never sleeps nor slumbers. He never stands a lady up! He is A GENTLEMAN! ALWAYS ON TIME!!! HE WILL BRING YOU ROSES CATCH YOU WHEN YOU FALL, TUCK YOU IN AND SING YOU LULLABIES! THATS THE LOVER OF MY SOUL! GA SE WA DIMISSED CALL!!! HIS LOVE IS FAITHFUL, CONSTANT AND TRUE!!! WHAT MORE CAN YOU ASK FOR?
