THE CANCER OF TRIBALISM IN ZAMBIA Zambia is infected with the deadly metastic tumor called tribalism. The country seems to have a failed democracy because its multiplicity of tribes has not been democratized. Its almost ran like a monarchy under the auspices of democracy. When a particular tribe assumes the office of presidency, the other 71 tribes are reduced to bergers, inferiority and redundancy in the running of national affairs. I mean this explains the unfortunate phenomenon where the pf is popular without campaign in bembaland, the same with upnd in Tonga land and mmd in ngoni land etc... But this is a fatal cancer that has metastaised into the country. The country even rite now has been reduced to one tribe. Almost all diplomatic missions only have one tribe, cabinet only one tribe apart from a few portfolios. Dcs, ps, CS etc same applies. But the question is how can this help our country move forward without casualties. We appeal to HH, RB, EDGAR or who ever will be from pf not to spread this cancer like his predecessor did. Every tribe has something to offer towards the development of this nation....
