THE CAUSE OF THE FALLS The soul : The cause of my sadness , the Lord, comes from the fact that , in spite of my sincere resolutions , I fall all the time and always in the same defects . In the morning I make resolutions , and in the evening I see how I went away from such intentions . - Jesus : You see , My child , what you are to yourself . The cause of your falls depends on whether you rely too much on yourself and you rely too little on Me But this should not grieve too much , youre dealing with a merciful God ; your misery I do not run out , the rest I have not limited the number of times that I can forgive you . - The soul : Yes, I know all that, but great temptations assail me and several doubts arise in me, and also everything irritates me and discourages me . - Jesus : Know , My child , that the biggest obstacle to holiness is discouragement and anxiety unjustified, that takes away the opportunity to practice the virtues . All the temptations put together should not upset the peace of mind even for a moment , and irritability and despair are the result of your self-esteem . You must not be discouraged , but try to make My love reign in place of your self-esteem . So trust , My child , you must not be discouraged , but come to ask forgiveness of Me , because I am always willing to forgive you. Every time I ask him , exalt My Mercy . - The soul : I know what is perfect and what to you like the most, but encounter great obstacles in carrying out what I know . - Jesus: My Child , life on this earth is a fight and a great fight for My kingdom, but do not worry, youre not alone . I will uphold you forever, so leaning on my arm and fight without being afraid of anything. Get the vessel of trust and scoopin the source of life , not only for yourself , but think also to other souls , and especially to those who do not trust in my goodness.
