THE CHS REP RACE!!!!!! Now political line has been drawn for the 3 potential candidates to demonstrate their willingness and committment to serve comrades in this mighty college of the UoN. The following are officially in the race; 1.Edwin Rono 2.Eugene Nyangwe 3.Robert Ouko Jnr Lets have a look at what has happened so far and get to know the contestants better. Edwin Rono; He is a slim, vibrant medic of few words, always speaks out his mind and is free to corrections when wrong. He has not been active in politics but has a history of playing the spoiler role annually by dividing med skul votes. He currently enjoys the support of some section of med students who believe he can carry the day. He recently picked his nomination ppr unceremoniously and disappeared to main campus where he stays. He plans to use about 50,000/- for the campaign. He recently sneaked into a bash in hall 1 that was organised by a congress aspirant in conjunction with one of his opponents for CHS rep but upon seeing the magnitude of the party, he disappeared without saying a word. He plans to campaign only in med skul in a move that will clearly demontrate his spoiler role once again. His biggest agenda is to ensure that he is well paid to step down. Eugene Nyangwe; Is a well built medic who comes into this race with one of the most organised camps so far. He currently enjoys support across the board i.e all skuls in CHS. He has silently traversed the whole college and stil plans to reach eveyone. In his meetings, comrades have had drinks. Lollipos & chocolates have been consumed en masse. He is said to be the candidate of choice for the senior students in CHS and has also been endorsed officially by the political wings of 1st & 2nd yrs. He is a selfless man of few words too and is highly respected coz of the way he handles issues. Last yr, him together with Ouko Jnr & other like minded leaders ensured Soweto was never decked but was painted instead. Reliable sources have it that he plans to invest heavily in this race but could not reveal the exact amount. He has so far used 50k though the race is yet to start. He has hired 2 X-trails that will be used for campaigns during the last week. He has blended well with pharmacists, nursing students, bchem, BDS & med lab. He ceremoniously picked his nomination ppr in a way that demonstrated CHS unity after which all comrades present endorsed him & signed all the 500 signatures and had refreshment thereafter including one of his opponents who too sneaked in. Robert Ouko Jnr; He too is a vibrant man of many words. He is best known for protesting severally so that comrades interests are met. However, wisdom has always carried the day. He comes into this race as a person who can pull a Nkonge. He believes he can benefit from the fact that 2 med students are on the race. Reliable sources have it that he plans to use about 30,000/- in this race though he is yet to get the money. He also enjoys support from CU and other christian organisations not forgetting his 3rd yr nursing class. He too picked his nomination pprs unceremoniously after which he joined fellow comrades to celebrete with TeamEugene outside block A. He comes into this race as a man who dares to face his opponents despite the tyranny of numbers not favouring him. Rumours also has it that he is in talks with Rono for a possible coalition that would make him the ultimate beneficiary. They are said to be planning to bring together their funds so as to become relevant in this race. In summary, it is very evident that this race will be a very difficult one and let us give every1 of them a chance to tell us their plans. To the aspirants, we want to see decent posters and stickers and not what weve started seeing in fb! So far in majority opinion, Nyangwe has the best pic from a quality designer.
