The Bible encourages all to check themselves to see if theyre still in the Faith! Likewise, check yourself with regard to the kind of company you keep! You may think you need friends and so become careless in terms of who you call a friend; hmmm ... you may live to regret this as many are currently doing! May God Help us to do the needful to avoid all bad company no matter how beneficial such relationships may potentially be. In Jesus Name. Amen!!! I wrote you in my letter not to associate with immoral people; I did not at all mean with the immoral people of this world, or with the covetous and swindlers, or with idolaters, for then you would have to go out of the world. But actually, I wrote to you not to associate with any so-called brother if he is an immoral person, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or a swindlernot even to eat with such a one. I Corinthians 5:9-11 NASB This Scripture must be taken with a lot of caution! This doesnt mean you should throw caution to the winds and associate freely with just anybody as long as theyre not believers (or calling themselves as such)! Be wise! Rely/lean not upon your own understanding; trust in the Lord and beseech Him for direction and the Grace to act on His Word and Instruction always in Jesus Name. Amen!!! Whoever loves wisdom makes his father rejoice, But a companion of harlots wastes his wealth. Proverbs 29:3 NKJV Wisdom knows and is known by wisdoms children! The children of wisdom make their parents joyful. The father rejoices in the manifestations of his sons wisdom. However the children who are companions of harlots and fools end up wasting the familys resources and make the parents sad! Train you child in the way that he/she should go and when theyre old, they will not depart from the way youve trained them. So, be careful of the kind of training you give to your children!!! (1) Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away. (2) For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward, (3) how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him, (4) God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will? Hebrews 2:1-4 When you hear the Truth, you must take heed earnestly or else you will drift away from the Truth! Practice makes perfect! Whatever you commit to is what you will get used to. If you have heard the Word of Truth; let it sink into your life and consciousness so the fruits manifest in due season! The consequences are dire if after all presented to us in Jesus Name in the Word of God and all, we still choose to ignore everything, a just reward awaits accordingly!
