THE DEAD SHOW (Grateful Dead tribute) w/s/g STEVE URBAN live @ Strange Brew Pub Really looking forward to being a part of this night and playing some Jerry tunes for ya with Richie Shakin Nagan & the mighty Zeus aka Peter Maloupis. Thank you Dead Show, Jeff & Jordan! I dont think there are many recordings or video of me performing Reuben & Cherise live but Ive been told no one sings & plays that tune better then I do except Jerry Garcia himself! Which was the highest honor! Here is a vid from a very special show at The Studio at Webster Hall in NYC on December 13th, 2009. Yes my band did this, yes my band did that & yes my band broke up lol ... DJ Dave Nolan of The Wetlands Preserve opened that night with a set. Other acts that night were Matisyahu upstairs, DJ Champe (Reggae / dub) and I performed in the studio solo acoustic, with E-FUNK, L-One Crackeriffic did a set of Hip-Hop / Rap and an NYC Grateful Dead tribute Star 69. Jonathan Scribles Wolloch & Kc Schweickert painted a beautiful piece that I have in my bedroom. Each note cut a thread of Cherises fate.
