THE FACE of GOD PART 21 JOB’S ENCOUNTER (Ps. 49:1-4) Hear - TopicsExpress

THE FACE of GOD PART 21 JOB’S ENCOUNTER (Ps. 49:1-4) Hear this, all ye people; give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world: 2 Both low and high, rich and poor, together.3 My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding. 4 I will incline mine ear to a parable: I will open my dark saying upon the harp. Locked inside the parable, indeed locked inside the life of every man, there is a story being told, a revelation either unfolding or laying dormant until the proper timing for it to be unleashed. Parables are hidden. Paul preached our life is hidden in God. Only wisdom and understanding can give comprehension to what God is doing in our day, what He has done in the ages past, and what He will be doing in the ages forward. An amazing fact concerning our Father is that He is an author writing his story in history, in nature, upon tablets of stone, and most importantly upon the hearts of men. We, as men in his image, have been emulating our Father leaving paper trails for quite a few centuries, and we have just discovered of recent times, there is also a digital trail holding our thoughts and musings. There is even a cloud in which these musings can be stored. A great cloud of witnesses is the Spiritual revelation of whom that He is; indeed, more concise than dusty volumes stored laying dormant, housed in library vaults, which are often built beneath earth’s surface. Compare a photo of old to a digital of today. Who would want to return to the old standard, and yet, many in the religious setting would desire to return to the Old Covenant or to a standard set in the Book of Acts, or even to a Garden of Eden outlined in the Beginning? Before anyone would disagree, consider. The Old Covenant lies in dust even as Adam lies in dust. The New Covenant, just as the New Man in Christ, is now the rule of the day. As for the Book of Acts, Greater Things are the prerequisite for this day. Creation is groaning not for a return to a past day in Acts, but a greater day. The manifesting of the sons of God. Son-ship is far greater than Apostle-ship. Acts restored the earth to the righteousness Of God, but the New Acts will glorify the earth with the glory of no more death, no more sin. The elements will totally be changed. How can you build a New Heaven and a New Earth with the elements of a past order? I believe many in the church are awakening to see the fallacy of Revival. Thank God for Revival, but Revival is not Restoration. Revival is the catching of the Wind of the Spirit, quickening the old, the mortal for a time, but it is built upon a time standard, whereas, Restoration is built upon an eternal standard. Time is eliminated in complete Restoration. The clock runs down, and God is not going to rewind it. That is true of the Garden of Eden as well. I would not want to return to a place, no matter how lush, in which there were two trees growing. Note, in the Ending, the Revelation of Jesus Christ, there are not two trees, but only the Tree of Life. Endings are greater than Beginnings in that we see the whole story unfolded. The word ASK can be a Biblical acronym imploring men to ask, seek, and knock. The Kingdom of God is composed of those who ask, seek, and knock. God responds to those asking, seeking, and to those who knock. Faith is relative to ask, seek, and knock. Now, before anyone thinks I am advocating a works mentality to God, let me assure you, that none of mankind was asking, seeking, or knocking to find God. All had gone astray in Adam, all were lost in the fog of carnality clouding the human mind and soul. Further, it was God who answered the call to asking, seeking, and knocking. In his Son, Father sets up the Kingdom. All things are hidden in his Christ. In Psalms 2 there is a dialogue occurring between Father and Son, and this is declared: Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Jesus came seeking that which was lost. He was the One who left Father’s abode, coming to earth clothed in flesh to rescue the perishing. As for knocking, we find it is Jesus who stands at the door and knocks, bidding men to open the doors of their hearts in true fellowship of breaking bread together. Job is a book of depth, of wisdom revealed, and yet hidden in the shrouds of the Spirit. It, like the Revelation, is not a book that can be plumbed except through the fellowship of the Spirit. Indeed, the Word of God was not given to the mockers, the rebellious, and to those that would turn and rend the Kingdom like Cain. God does not cast his pearls before swine. It, the book was written for those whom seek. The 28th chapter of Job reveals much of the heart of the Father. Did not Jesus reveal to the Samaritan woman at the well the Father was seeking for those whom worship him in Spirit and in Truth? This nugget was never given to the Doctors of the law, robed in their ecclesiastical garb of righteousness. Nuggets of Truth are hidden, like gold, silver, and precious jewels in the bowels of the earth, and must be uncovered, polished, and refined. The quest begins with a question. Questions are not statements of faith of religious organizations. They all hold their creeds of this is what we believe, but faith is a journey, a quest full of questions that only the Father can answer. We have this written in Psalms: (Ps 8:3) When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; 4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? The question is posed; it is our quest through the Spirit to search it out. Life without questions becomes too routine. Laxness, entertainment become the thought of the day---man’s desire is not for the Holy Ghost to fill him, but to fill himself with the fullness of the world. Another man of wisdom, Solomon, found filling up on the world is vanity of vanities. So, Job begins to discern in the 28th. chapter that which is valuable is also hidden, and only through diligent search can be found. There is comfort in life, but it is found in the comfort of walking in the Holy Ghost, not in building a house on the foundation of sand. Job attests: There is a path which no fowl knoweth, and which the vultures eye hath not seen: 8 The lions whelps have not trodden it, nor the fierce lion passed by it. (Job 28:7-8) Sounds like a pathway every man should trod; a pathway Jesus indicated when He declared I am the way, the truth, and the life. Further Job establishes this in the 3rd. verse of the 28th. chapter: He setteth an end to darkness, and searcheth out all perfection: the stones of darkness, and the shadow of death. Some deep searching is going on by God on man’s behalf. This salvation was not hastily drawn up, nor is it executed like some frivolous law that our Congress is likely to enact. Once again, man’s perfection is found in Christ within, the hope of glory. Father knows all about dark, stumbling stones; He knows about the Valley of the Shadow of Death. Indeed, Jesus went through this valley for every man. Now let’s tie in some links we found in the Book of Wisdom (after all, Job is speaking of wisdom and understanding in this 28th. chapter). Pr 3:19 The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens. 20 By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew. Father is not about to let your ship sink---if God be for you, who can be against you. Tap into the wisdom of God; it will establish the Believer more than a case of goose bumps. Then, we have this written to help those who are being shaken by the great shaking God is doing within the kingdoms of this earth and among the nations. (Pr 3:25-26) Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh. 26 For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken. Father has not given us a spirit of fear, but of love, power, and a sound mind. God is shaking the nations and its governments, and rightly so. The earth is growing tired of wars, murders, lies, child molesters, religious bondage, race riots, blood letting, etc. Father is hearing the heavy groans of the earth, just as He heard the groans of his people Israel when they were enslaved in Egypt. Father is a Consuming Fire, and He will purify the earth by burning the hay, wood, and stubble, which man has used to advance his selfish interests. The handwriting is upon the wall; the kingdoms of corruption shall surely fall, and there shall be a New Heaven and a New Earth in which dwells righteousness. If you view that as a bad deal, then wrap up the garbage with this Newsletter as its contents cannot be of help to you. Creation, however, and all true Believers are longing for the day in which the Sons of God have their revealing. The earth and its creation are needing the glory of the Father to be revealed within them. Proverbs three goes on to attest these things about wisdom: (Pr 3:13 -18)Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. 14 For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. 15 She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.16 Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour. 17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. 18 She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her. Jesus asserted in his teaching the reason for his coming was to bring life into this world laden with death. Wisdom is the Tree of Life. Therefore, Job goes on in the 28th. chapter with these questions and declarations. (Job 28:20) Whence then cometh wisdom? and where is the place of understanding? 21 Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living, and kept close from the fowls of the air. Destruction and death have heard of its fame, but only God knows its location for He has searched it out. The chapter then concludes, telling us the location of wisdom and understanding. Its place. The fear of the Lord is understanding, and to depart from evil is understanding. Job needed to know this. He had heard about it; he had talked about it, but He really didn’t fully comprehend it. He had been under great duress. Everything had gone wrong in Job’s life that could go wrong. But Job is about to get a breakthrough; the heavens are going to shine once again; rivers of butter are about to flow in Job’s direction. What Job had heard about the Creator his eye was now going to see. John states when we see him, we shall know him, for we shall be like him, for we shall see him as He is. No more debate with religious comforters. No more condemnation by the law or its zealous adherents. The mystery was being unfolded to Job as to whom God is. He had found that hidden treasure hid from all eyes simply because the grace of God revealed it to him. Colossians 2:2-3 makes this bold assertion: That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ 3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Job went through it, but Christ within was there with him, helping him to stand the test. That’s a shout, church!
