THE FEAR OF FULANIS... The humanitarian crisis in Benue State has indeed assumed very fearsome, genocidal proportion remniscent of Rwanda. On a whistle stop from Abuja to Makurdi, im amazed to see whole villages deserted with huge refugee traffic at places like Udei, Nyiev and Yelwata. The refugees are uncoordinated and vulnerable to more Fulani attacks as security presence is virtually non-existentent to cater for and ensure the safety of displaced persons. In the light of appalling government negligence, it would not be out of place for the United Nations to come to the aid of Benue people.
