THE FOOD FIGHT of FAITH..........Fight the good fight of the faith. (1 Ti 6:12). JESUS said, I have food to eat that you know nothing about (John 4:32). The DISCIPLES were COMPLETELY BAFFLED by His remark and asked one another, Did you give Him something to eat? Of course JESUS wasn’t talking about beans, greens or cornbread, rather He was talking about THE FOOD THAT COMES FROM HEAVEN. JESUS told His disciples, DO NOT WORK for the food that spoils, but FOR THE FOOD that ENDURES to ETERNAL LIFE, which the Son of Man shall give you (John 6:27). So that none would doubt what He meant, the LORD said, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God (Mat 4:4). As the body would die without food and water, so the soul shall perish without THE WORD of GOD. This being true we may be assured of the fact that SATAN WILL DO WHATEVER he can to keep us from THE WORD of GOD. THE DEVIL sabotages OUR TIME and DISTRACTS OUR ATTENTION. He preoccupies us with CONFLICT and DISPUTES on other battle fronts, or HE DECEIVES us INTO COMPLACENCY with prolonged cease fire. All the while he is madly working at cutting us off from communication and supplies. If he succeeds he will win the war. Job’s confession should be our own: I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food. (Job 23:12) My FaceBook Friends fill yourselves up with THE WORD of GOD, And the devil won’t stand a chance against you in THE FOOD FIGHT of FAITH. Be Blessed and Be a Blessing. Walk it OUT.
