THE GOSPEL NEVER CHANGES Malachi 3:6a.-I AM THE LORD, I CHANGE NOT. Many have busied themselves on the modernization of the gospel.May I say that there is no need for man to toil in that regard.As raw as John dropped it, so has it been,and so shall it remain.That is what our original song says: GIVE ME THAT OLD TIME RELIGION,GIVE THAT OLD TIME RELIGION.IS GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME.IT WAS GOOD FOR PAUL AND SILAS.IS GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME Hear John the Baptizer- Luke 3:8-14. Bring therefore fruits worthy of repentance,and begin not to say within yourselves,We are sons of Abraham.And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the tree:every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down,and cast into the fire.And the people asked him saying,What shall we do then ?He answered and said unto them,He that hath two coats,let him impart to him that hath none,and he that hath meat,let him do likewise.Then came also publicans to be baptized,and said unto him,Master ,what shall we do ? And he said unto them, Exact no more than that which is appointed you.And the soldiers likewise demanded of him saying,What shall we do ? And he said unto them,Do violence to nö man,neither accuse any falsely,and be content with your wages. My question is, why do most preachers of today not tell their congregation to change their evil ways ? Must they hear all the time what God promises to do for them ? TILTED ? Is it not ? Why is it that no follower today ever asks the preacherman WHAT SHALL I DO Diluted messages ? Always make them happy. Not so ? Shall we continue in SIN that GRACE may abound ? God forbid Rom 6:1-2.
