THE HEARTS OF DESPERATE MEN! During my school days as an undergraduate @ Benue State Makurdi, I read the work of Chinua Achebes essay title The trouble with Nigeria for the first time. To him, theres nothing wrong with the Nigerian soil but the attitude of her people. To buttress my point, politics in Igede land is full of people with egocentric tendencies . I often say that if we, as people , had as much religion in our hearts and souls as we have in our legs and feet,we could have change the world . The thoughts and actions of men in Igede land today, still inspire our desires, hopes and dreams as I owe a debt to Igede elites for resolving the political differences between Hon Nick and Sam back to their previous seats with the hope of making Nick Deputy Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly where as Bar Paul will be made as Chairman of the LG well, posterity ll judge the hearts of evils men who are relying on Idoma mafias to achieve their political goals to the detriment of an Intelligent Nick Eworo ! Sir, Congratulations to U on ur recent victory !
