THE HUT UPDATE......Making good progress with our all purpose ablution block come natural fertilizer production & transfer unit ,( see photo ) sadly tho, we are experiencing some minor teething problems , one problem was solved most efficiently by plumbing the exhaust pipe of our Postie bike directly into the comfort cabin ,this proved to be most effective in keeping the blowflys & Mosquitos at bay whilst the cabin is in use ,however ,we are desperately hoping that some of our FB friends may know where we can avail ourselves of a pump capable of lifting rather heavy fluid from below ground level to the bath tub via the filtration unit ( see photo) this pump must be capable of being driven from the drive sprocket of our Postie bike as there is no other power source available...also we need information on a more efficient & cheap method of converting effluent into bath water ( also Postie bike driven). As at this stage , the bath water, ( which we are treating with copious amounts of garden lime ,nappy san & phenol) needs to be bucketed to the bath tub, is a terrible colour & has a most unpleasant odour. All suggestions will be considered & if yours is used you will receive a hand written certificate of appreciation ( autographed by all members of the committee)... ..Thank you for your time FB friends ,the committee eagerly awaits your much appreciated help as we need to correct this problem before the upcoming tourist season begins...
