THE KENYA YOUTH EMPOWERMENT PROJECT CALL FOR YOUTH TO PARTICIPATE IN CYCLE 6 OF THE PRIVATE SECTOR BASED TRAINING AND INTERSHIP PROGRAM This is a four year pilot project financed by the government of Kenya with a credit from the World Bank. Meant for youths who are ready to be placed in Kisumu, Nairobi and Mombasa counties only. The training and internship program targets vulnerable youth who do not have other opportunities available to them for example opportunities to advance their studies and /or opportunities for long or short term employment To be eligible, applicants must: a) Be btwn 15 and 29 years of age b) Have a minimal qualification of KCPE c) Not be currently in school/college d) Have been out of school for at least a year from now e) Not be currently working f) Be of Kenyan nationality: and g) Not have been selected in previous cycles Application forms are available in the following ways Downloading from the KEPSA website (kepsa.or.ke) or the ministry of devolution and planning website (devolutionplanning.go.ke) Accessing the online application form which is to be found on the KEPSA (kepsa.or.ke) and MoDP (devolutionplanning.go.ke) websites Submission of completed application forms may be done in the following ways: Online application to be electronically submitted at the click of the button Email a soft copy through [email protected] for youths who wish to be placed in Nairobi, [email protected] for youths who wish to be placed in Mombasa and [email protected] for youths who wish to be placed in Kisumu NB.
