THE LIFE THAT WAS NEVER LIVED The Road was like a speckled band, - TopicsExpress

THE LIFE THAT WAS NEVER LIVED The Road was like a speckled band, snaking its way up the slope. Down in the valley, a furious ravine exalted its fury over the rocks and boulders, forming rapids and falls as it rumbled through the forest. In the forest, a constrictor had coiled the life out off an antelope to have it for dinner. On a little dry patch, on the bed of this wild ravine, was pitched a cluster of colourful tents, that was supposed to be the base camp of our winter expedition to the wilderness of The Himalayas. From the ropeway cabin, the camp seemed to be like a beautiful picture painted on the canvas of Earth. It was in this picture that I found "her"…. only to lose "her" in the vast ocean of human civilization which had washed away all the six continents of the world.
