THE LORD IS RISEN =) Early in the morning, on the first day - TopicsExpress

THE LORD IS RISEN =) Early in the morning, on the first day after the Sabbath, while it was still dark, Mary Magadala/ Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and saw that the stone over the tomb had been moved away. So Peter and the other disciple whom Jesus loved. And she said to them, They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid him. (John 20:1-2). ♡♥♡ :) We just celebrated the birth of Jesus, and todays Gospel is about his resurrection! This passage was chosen because today is the feast of John the Evangelist, Apostle. The disciple Jesus loved (who appears only in Johns Gospel) was thought to be John himself. It is said John died a natural death at a ripe old age. On the other hand, Jesus was brutally killed at about the age of 30. Jesus is seated at the right hand of God -- an expression that describes his glory. John too enjoys the happiness of heaven. In this Christmas season, we celebrate that God became one of us and opened the door to the fullness of life. Its good time to settle back and drink about what it means to have future that lasts forever. Mary Magdalene is a sinful woman. The Gospel do not anywhere speak of her as a sinner. She is presented as one who had been once under the clutches of seven demons (Luke 8:2). Jesus had come to the rescue of his oppressed woman. There after Jesus was the only Master of her life whom she ministers to (Matthew 27: 55-56; Luke 8:3). ♡♥♡ So Let tgecrealization of Jesus resurrection hit us. Let our hearts race. Our friend Jesus has risen! He is alive, he wants to find us! LORD JESUS, THANK YOU FOR DRAWING US TO YOURSELF IN FRIENDSHIP. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit Amen. Happy Holiday everyone. GOD BLESS. ★♥★
