THE MARK PRINTERS We never leave anyone the same way we meet them. It is either we have made them better or worse. Each of the seven billion people in the world have a sought of influence in the lives of others. We leave a print, a mark on everyone we come across. The question now is what kind of mark do you leave. Our actions can lead to two things: transformation or deformation. Not just to us but also to those we come across. That is the more reason we should decide to be a plus, and not a curse to the world. We all are mark printers Parading on the earth We all are mind painters Painting life or death The difference between a style and stain Is how the outcome looks Does your life bring pain or gain Or tears from human brooks Do not be the desert beside the well; rather be the well beside the desert. People like Nelson Mandela, Mother Theresa, Isaac Newton etc are still celebrated today, long after they had died, because they left positive marks on the lives of people through their actions. People like Judas Iscariot, Osama Bin Ladin, Adolf Hitler etc are still condemned today because of their negative marks on the earth. Whether you will be celebrated or condemned lies on your contribution. And as Alice Clark poem goes: My life shall touch a dozen lives Before this day is done Leave countless marks of good or ill, Eer sets the evening sun This, the wish I always wish The prayer I always pray; Lord may my life touch other lives It touches by the way Choose this day what kind of mark you will print on the lives of others. And I implore you to decide to print the mark that even posterity will commend, not condemn you after you are gone. Decide to put smiles on the faces of people,not sighs; to make people cool not cry; to be a blessing to every person and to be a positive impact maker.
