THE MEA CULPAS ABOUT CLIVEN BUNDY HAVE BEGUN: Hannity. Heller. Rand Paul. Theyre horrified! Horrified. And full of it. And if you defended him and havent wholeheartedly distanced yourself from every piece of this man, so are you. Unless you have disavowed Cliven Bundys words, his deeds, his followers, his secessionism, his racism, his criminal behavior, his call for violence against the government... Your mewling what he said is despicable doesnt mean anything. Are you still on that ranch defending him? You are a bigot. Are you parsing your words and saying the BLM should have done anything different? Then youre siding with the villain in the story. Cliven Bundy doesnt recognize the United States of America as a nation, or apparently black people as a free people. If you cant wash your hands of him and his, you have the bad blood of the past on yours. Apologize for being so easily seduced by a man who hates the current government because theres a black man as President. Accept that hes a criminal, a deadbeat and that the government was right to try to take compensation from what he stole and after 20 years, it was time to act. Accept that when he threatened the government with range war, they were right to take him seriously. Accept that they knew this terrible human being better than any conservative in his studio that jumped on his bandwagon. Accept that hes a white supremacist with a militia that you wanted to be a folk hero... and that you were wrong. Let this horrid relic get exactly what he deserves. Poverty for his thievery. Perhaps jail for his treason. And then, he should become obsolete. Admit you chose poorly. Then walk away.
