THE MEANS TO GET WEALTH Ecclesiastes 2:26 For God giveth to a man - TopicsExpress

THE MEANS TO GET WEALTH Ecclesiastes 2:26 For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God. This also is vanity and vexation of spirit. Deuteronomy 8:18 But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day. One of the keys to experiencing increase is to walk in the wisdom of God. Wisdom is the key to the material world because it existed before anything was made and it is through wisdom that it was made Proverb 8:18-35. In Ecclesiastes 2:26, it says that God gives wisdom to the man that is good in his sight but also gives travail to the sinner to gather and heap up that he may give to him that is good before God. What I want to know is, “Why does it seem that there are so few transfers between the sinner who heaps up resources to those good before God?” I believe it is because we aren’t walking in wisdom but are expecting things to just be dumped on us. The reason there is not much transferred from the sinner to the saint is because the saints don’t use wisdom or limit the use of wisdom. The saints only use wisdom inside the church building but that is not where the wealth of the wicked is gathered. We can reap out of the Kingdom with our giving but we can also reap out of the world with a business or work. A business is simply a reaping mechanism to reap the fields of the world. Some translations of the word “give” in this verse give the meaning of: is to exchange; to pay; to pay wages; to recompense; to sell; to yield produce to. That sounds to me like there must be a mechanism or some kind of market for an exchange to take place. What constitutes a market? To have a market there must be: a product or service a buyer a seller an agreed upon price an exchange (or a place, means, or mechanism for an exchange to take place). The American business enterprise is the most powerful in the world. There must be some reason why God has placed us as American Christians in the middle of the greatest economy on earth and yet there are so few Churches and Bible schools that are raising up people to own businesses, be business leaders, invent products or be entrepreneurs. It is interesting to me that Deuteronomy 8:18 tells us that it is God who gives us the power to get wealth but the word for “power” could be translated “the means” to get wealth. God doesn’t always just give us wealth but the means to get wealth. God’s wisdom often comes to us to give us the power to get wealth but we often resist thinking about getting wealth beyond just working on a job. Could God be calling some Christians to the marketplace and business world? If you take a look at all you have less all you owe that equals your net worth; that is the amount you have given your life for working while living in the richest economy of the world. This is crippling the work of God in the earth because most of our lives are being spent gathering and heaping up for those who may not be good before God. It is time for Christians to take back business, business ownership, and economics. We talk about faith yet we seek careers in the securest jobs working for others. Economies flow or happen because of the involvement of corporations, investors, government, and entrepreneurs yet all corporations start due to a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Entrepreneurs are those who invest and a risk of their own resources to start a business and make it successful. The entrepreneurial spirit is at the beginning of all companies and corporations. Although corporations only make up about 18 percent of the total number of businesses, they make 87 percent of the sales that drive our economy. Sole proprietors make up the largest percent of businesses 74 percent, but make only 9 percent of the sales. Proverb 4:7 says, “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. The wisdom of God can inspire, speak, lead, and give Believers the power to get wealth through various means of reaping increase. Some of these require involvement in the marketplace where the wealth of the wicked is and where the Kingdom of God was meant to extend to.
