THE MONDAY JUICE – April 14 Thank you to all those who supported our Kids Rally on Sabbath, all the kids loved it! As a parent it is such a joy to see children busting to go to Church and worship God! Big Camp April 18-26: Big Camp is a colloquial term for the annual convention of the NNSW Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Its a 10-day event filled with music, worship, inspirational speakers and activities for all ages. For more information click NNSW Big Camp. Worship in the (MPC) Gym Room over the Holiday’s: Even though ‘Big Camp’ starts at the end of this week and a few of our Gateway family will be away, Gateway is still open for worship! Over the next two weeks we will be worshipping in the Gym room. So, if your around Cooranbong over the holidays, please drop in and worship with us. Dr. Adelle Faul will be sharing an Easter message with us this coming Sabbath April 19! Prayer for the Muirhead Family: Many of you may already be aware of Karen Muirhead’s health concerns at present and her very delicate and life threatening operation tomorrow Tuesday April 15. We are having an anointing service this afternoon Monday 14,at 2:30-3:00pm. If you could remember to spend some time in prayer at that time. We are also calling for everyone to pray for Karen throughout these next few days, but especially between 7am and 7pm tomorrow. Please pray that God would guide the surgeons mind and hand, that blood flow would be contained, that God would detach the tumor from her vital organs and that it will be able to be completely removed. Let’s pray that God would heal Karens immune system, that it would be strengthened and that her blood pressure would be stable through out the procedure. Also pray that God would heal Karen completely from whatever is at the root cause of this tumor, so that when removed it will not return. Most of all lets pray that God would send His Spirit to give Karen, Charles and Ethan strength and peace throughout this most difficult time. James 5:13-18 Are you hurting? Pray. Do you feel great? Sing. Are you sick? Call the church leaders together to pray and anoint you with oil in the name of the Master. Believing-prayer will heal you, and Jesus will put you on your feet. And if you’ve sinned, you’ll be forgiven—healed inside and out. Make this your common practice: Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you can live together whole and healed. The prayer of a person living right with God is something powerful to be reckoned with. Elijah, for instance, human just like us, prayed hard that it wouldn’t rain, and it didn’t—not a drop for three and a half years. Then he prayed that it would rain, and it did. The showers came and everything started growing again. Our prayer for this week is for the Muirhead family, for Karen’s healing and her operation. May we press into the Lord as seek His Soveriegn will in Jesus name, Amen!
