THE MYSTERY OF THE END TIME Rev13 The mystery of God is that which baffles our understanding and cannot be explained naturally except by His divine revelation. One that is not fully understood or that which baffles and eludes understanding. That whose identity is unknown and arouses curiosity. A religious truth that is incomprehensible to reason. A mystery could also be an unexplained or inexplicable event or phenomenon. It means to obscure, secret, an enigma, a closed book, a puzzle, a riddle, that which poses questions, ambiguity, secrecy and uncertainty. Men through diabolical means have been able to demystify and unravel certain events except for those which have just began and only accessible by the Holy Spirit. (1 Corinthians 2:9-10; Romans 11:25; Revelations 5:1 & 6:1) Please keep an open mind to these sayings. Ever since the Old Testament first spoke of the antichrist, Christians and Jews have been looking for his advent. Daniel described him as the most evil man who has ever lived. He will charm the Jews into submission then turn against them. The man of sin will briefly become the most powerful man on earth. Many Christians have tried to name the antichrist from among the men of their generation. Some have made good assumptions while others were of base in their observations, but unfortunately no one has been able to name the true anti-Christ. The list is endless: Emperor Nero - one of the 1st and probably the greatest person to fit the role of an antichrist. He put many Christians to death and even killed members of his own family. The Pope - especially when the power of the Pope was more pronounced. Napoleon The French Emperor - The self crowned French emperor who did not persecute the church but was a war monger and attempted reviving the Roman Empire. In fact he was way off the title because a notable quote attributed to Napoleon says “The bible is no mere book, but it’s a living creature with power that conquers all who oppose it” Aleister Crowley - a male witch who lived in England between 1875 and 1947 and was nicknamed the beast and 666. Benito Mussolini - the Italian dictator between 1922 and 1943, his extreme arrogance fits the role of an antichrist, but his military capabilities were laughable. Adolf Hitler – The German who is described as the most villainous man that ever lived. Joseph Stalin - the Russian dictator believed to be the greatest murderer of all time, who killed 30 million people, who are his own citizens. Ayatollah Khomeini - the great Iranian grand master who single handedly revolutionalised the present day Iran, rallying the people against the government on his return from exile in 1979. Mikhail Gorbachev - the first Russian leader to support the right of the people, born with a mark on his head, a candidate for prophesy watchers. Yassir Arafat - when he signed a peace treaty with Israel in 1993 and we thought he was bringing to pass the prophesy of the antichrist by signing a 7 year peace treaty with Israel. Bill Gates – The computer literate and financially well-off. Sun Myung Moon - leader of the unification church who claims to be the messiah. Prince Charles - believed to have ancestral links to the Roman Empire. He is reported to be a vegetarian, which explains why the antichrist will stop daily animal sacrifice in the Jewish temple. Barrack Hussein Obama - the 44th president of the United States of America sworn in to his second term of office at 12pm (GMT) on the 22nd of January, 2013 (read revelations 13:5) “to continue his reign for a further 42 months” 4 year term. I have some personal observations about the antichrist. I have no idea who he is as I look back at history; neither do I think that the antichrist will be a single man. I stand to be corrected on this. From Revelations 13, a beast will rise from the sea having seven heads and ten horns with 10 crowns. I believe it’s a system of government, an amalgamation of evil men, a united nation of wicked powers, a united state of devils, a united kingdom of demons or demonic union of deranged individuals. Please keep an open mind. Revelation 13:1 speaks of beast rising from the sea, the abyss unknown to all, an alien, a foreigner, a strange fellow having the form of a leopard... A leopard is a black and white spotted animal, not white not black, an amalgamation of race, a camouflage. I happen to stumble on emails claiming on the odd facts that the day after the US presidential election in November 2012, the daily pick 3 lottery number in Obama’s home state of Illinois was 666. What I know is that someday the real antichrist will rise to power and destroy more people than anyone who have ever lived. We should therefore take care not to focus too much on the antichrist; our hope should be in the true and real Christ. Any news about the man of sin should prepare us for the coming of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, the Messiah. Personally, I have no plans of meeting this son of perdition, only those who refuse Jesus, those who take the truth of God’s word in unrighteousness, professing Christ but denying the power thereof, should expect to meet him or more likely see him on CNN and FOX news.
