THE MYSTERY OF THE FOLDED NAPKIN....Simon Peter went into the tomb; and he saw the linen cloths lying there, and the napkin that had been around His head,not lying with the linen cloths...but folded together in a place by itself. John 20:6 & 7 For centuries,Bible scholars have been baffled by the mystery of the folded napkin...but, according to jewish tradition...if you went to someones home for a meal....and you enjoyed your meal and the fellowship, you would take your napkin,fold it neatly and put it by your side...this would tell your host....I have enjoyed my visit...and I will return! SOOOO,WHEN CHRIST FOLDED HIS NAPKIN IN THAT TOMB....THAT WAS HIS WAY OF TELLING THE WHOLE-WIDE WORLD....I HAVE ENJOYED MY VISIT TO THE PLANET EARTH.....AND I WILL RETURN!!! I FEEL A SHOUT COMING ON,FOLKS! EVEN AT OUR SAVIOURS DEATH,BURIAL AND RESURRECTION, HE HAS FOUND A WAY TO TELL US....I AM COMING BACK! OH,WHAT A SAVIOUR...OH,HALLELUJAH...HE,WHO GAVE HIS LIFES BLOOD...IS COMING BACK FOR YOU AND ME...AND FOR ALL WHO HAVE BECOME HIS DISCIPLES! (Matt.28:18-20)ALL GLORY TO HIS WONDERFUL NAME!
