THE NIGHT CULTURE VISITED ANU: I landed in my native Antigua, summer 1980, when I was eighteen years old; first trip back from the USA. It was Devon and I who went to see the Joseph and The Mighty Culture at Antigua Recreations Grounds (ARG). It was music like dirt, and rubba dub like sand. Culture brought some of Jamdongs finest muscians, and they got the dreads fired up. The dreadlocks got so fired up that the show had to be stopped. Policemen froze, jaws dropped wide open, and rasta pulled on their chalices freely. It was a truly roots concert. A song from that era, and meant alot to the dreads and dread men like myself. https://youtube/watch?v=LVtoncOJEnQ
