THE OBSERVER. POLITICS OF DECEPTION The Zambian Patriotic Front (PF) government exemplifies what is essentially wrong about African Politics at present. The PF government came into power through its founder Mr. Michael Sata based on outlandish and ridiculous lies which have come to haunt the party. In this note, I wish to state a few of the many lies which the PF government vomited during the 2011 Elections. I find it morally reprehensible that such a bunch of lies can come back and ask for a new mandate from the Zambian people. The PF when asking for Zambians to vote for them promised that they would deliver a new constitution within 90days of assuming power. They promised that they would make sure that a people driven constitution is enacted. Three years into their term, the President of the PF, and now canonised as a Saint by the public Mr. Micheal Chilufya Sata said that Zambia had a functional constitution and that he was wondering what people were saying when asking for a people driven constitution. He was not too sure whether there was anything like an animal driven constitution. Mr. Sata insulted all Zambians in full view of the press. Unfortunately we have some civil society organisations which have forgotten all that and are now back supporting this rotten party. The PF had no intention of enacting the constitution because they made it very clear that it was more important to develop the country than to have a new constitution. Are Zambians so forgetful that not so long ago, the whole rank and file of the PF was telling Zambian people that building roads was more important than the constitution? Have we forgotten? Mr. Edgar Lungu, the supposed flag-bearer for the PF is now promising that he will enact the constitution before the 2016 elections. This is nonsense of the highest order! How can he now say that he shall ensure enactment of the constitution before 2016 when he and his party told Zambians that roads are more important than the constitution? What is wrong with these people? Is Edgar Lungu in drunken stupor again? Is this not the same Lungu who is saying that he wants to carry late Mr. Michael Sata’s legacy? What legacy is he carrying if he is going against what Sata stood for? Did Micheal Sata not fire Emmanuel Mwamba? Did Micheal Sata not send Brian Hapunda to answer charges with the police for theft? What legacy is Lungu trying to carry on? Lungu is trying to deceive the Zambian people. Lungu is playing ‘monkey games’ with the Zambian people. If what is at stake was not so serious, it would be comical! Lungu and his minions do not mean well. Lungu and his minions must be stopped!....I ask you to vote wisely and vote vote for HH.
