THE PASSWORD In the age of passwords more dysfunction and unrest has been spread by internet and Facebook hackers than all the turmoil and distress previously spread by mail snitches, phone taps and private detectives with telephoto lenses. If you believe your chats, emails and Skype lie within your private domain the donkeys tail is on you. Once in motion, hacking goes both ways in time, backward and forward. The result in either direction is never good. The past becomes the present. The present becomes overwhelming. You can clear the air, but you cannot repair the damage. In todays world, the boneyard of broken relationships is littered by hackers. Girlfriends, boyfriends, husbands, wives. All tied to some form of Webwatcher or other means of intrusion. In the end, there is no mend to the damage. The glass is shattered. Not in just one relationship, but in every succeeding relationship. The urge to hack is as irresistible to an internet snoop as a shot of whiskey is to a drunk. -MDP
