THE PATH TO GREATNESS Pastor Comfort Joshua 3:7 And the Lord said unto Joshua, This day will I begin to magnify thee in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee. Receive this message for yourself. Personalize it. Isaiah 60:1 1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. God says to shine. There is no option. Isaiah 54:2-3 Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; 3 For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited. You must determine to make progress this year. Strengthen the structures. Dont leave any stone unturned. Write down your vision and plans for the year. What progress do you want to make in your ministry? What gift of the Spirit are you working on improving? People must begin to see your profiting as God magnifies you. Your every day work must synchronize with your vision or your ministry. As you get pregnant and brood over them, you and God will make it happen. You must be in the forefront of the vision of our man of God. Habakkuk 2:2-3 And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. You must determine to follow through with the vision. Be focused, be disciplined. A man with a vision cannot die. Have a reason for living. Have a passion. Have a purpose for your life. Hold on to the dream. It is possible. Develop that passion. Nothing is impossible. See it. Dont stop dreaming. Philippians 3:12-14 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. 13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Gods thoughts for you are thoughts of good to give you an expected end. Grace has come. Favour has come! Press on for the mark. You have the competitive advantage! Be willing to make adjustments. One of the ways God helps you in life is to help you to see what you did wrong. This way you can make corrections and adjustments. Hold yourself accountable. You can control what you do. Determine to make progress. You must persevere. You must train in order to be a champion for life. You must give up some things in order to focus. There are friends you need to get rid of if you must move forward. There are some pastimes you need to drop. Lord anoint my mind so that I may think only the thoughts you permit me to think. Anoint my ears so that I can hear only the things you want me to hear. Anoint my eyes to see only what you want me to see. Have no fear or anxiety because they can cut short your dreams. Let go of fear. Jacob had a troubled lifetime because of the fear of Esau. Meanwhile Esau had forgotten his grudge. Philippians 4:6-7 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them]. -Philippians 4:8 (AMP) Isaiah 50:7 For the Lord God will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed. Believe the word of God and act on it.
