THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE A DIFFERENCE..... Now I see why powerful people often wear sunglasses... the spotlight blinds them to reality. Some suffer from a delusion that power means everything (it doesnt). Some suffer from the misconception that titles make the difference (they dont). Some are under the impression that earthly authority will make a heavenly difference, sorry to burst your bubble (it wont). Can I prove my point???... Check this out.... A.Name the ten wealthiest people in 50s. B.Name the last ten Heisman trophy winners. C.Name the last five winners of the Nobel prize. Surprising how quickly we forget, isnt it? Dont get me wrong, the above are no second-rate achievements, But the applause dies,Awards tarnish,Achieve ments are forgotten,Accol ades and certificates are buried with their owners. Ok, lets see how you do on this one.... A. Think of three people you enjoy spending time with. B. Name ten people who have taught you something worthwhile C. Name five friends who have helped you in a difficult time. Easy, wasnt it? Simply put, The people who make a difference are those present in our darkest hour....... Good evening friends.
