Constantine: NBC to Stay True to Comic Book Version! ------------------------------------------------------- BleedingCoolNews reports that they have it that the NBC TV series focusing on DC Comics John Constantine will stay true to the characterization from the comics, unlike the 2005 film that introduced a more American John Constantine. BCN says that while they may not hire an actual British actor for the role, John will STILL have his accent and will also be blonde. Thank you, NBC! I would like to put this out there, and some may not agree with this, but I actually would love to see Simon Pegg take on the role of John Constantine. A REAL Brit with blonde hair... Theres a few action scenes in the Edgar Wright film The Worlds End that SCREAMED John Constantine to me when I saw it. And I think hed pull it off well... But, thats just MY casting idea... Who do you want to see play John Constantine in the TV series?
