THE POLITICAL CORRUPTION attached to the appropriation bill that will come before the Senate for a vote on Monday is UNPRECEDENTED. My goodness, even many GOP Senators and Congressmen are appalled. That this bill is the first appropriations bill to come before congress in nearly a generation is good, but its value to our nation is completely overshadowed by the horrible laws that will do everything from allowing interstate truck drivers to operate their vehicles for up to 80 hours without rest, to allowing corporations to cut back their retirement commitments to vested retirees up to 30% in spite of the underlying contracts, to allowing individuals to give up to $1.5 million dollars, tax-free, in political contributions, to weakening Dodd-Frank even further setting up yet another monster Federal Bailout of the big banks after our next big collapse (Lobbyists from Citigroup actually wrote this section). So many of our politicians, left and right, INCLUDING OUR PRESIDENT, are bought by Big Bank, Big Oil, Big Coal, Big Ag, Big Power, and Big Pharma, to name a few. Our meager votes count for almost nothing now - and they will count for even less after this bill passes. YOU STILL HAVE TIME TO email your Senator and ask them to vote against this bill. Indications are the vote may be close. If you dont act, they will trample your rapidly decreasing rights.
