THE POST BAG: Voter education Editor, Allow me space in your reputable column to encourage the Electoral Commission of Zambia, NGOs and political parties to educate illiterate voters on voting instructions and procedure. I feel ECZ and political parties participating in the forthcoming presidential election have done little to educate illiterate voters on how to vote and how to identify their party symbols as well as their preferred presidential candidates. It is like they all think everyone knows how to vote. If this is done, the number of spoiled votes will greatly be reduced. It is cardinal that everyone cast their vote not only wisely but also wilfully. Political parties should take advantage of rallies to educate their voters on how to identify their party symbols. ECZ should use their voters’ education to do the same. Kumwesu Kauta
