……………..THE POWER OF KINDNESS…………….. The meal was outstanding, the service was efficient and our waitress was friendly. So I asked to see the manager of the restaurant…..Her eyes were big and her voice tentative as she stepped to our table. “Yes,... Yes sir, how can I help you?” You could tell her defense’s were up…..Ma’am I just want to tell you that this is one of the best meals I have ever eaten! Your cooks and your personal have done an outstanding job and you are doing an outstanding job and we are certainly coming back!……. Wow what a demeanor change!…Huge smile, relief written all over her face…..She said “Sir you have no idea what that means to me and how many times people complain over nothing! That is so kind of you! She shook my hand and left and Lady J. and I finished off the apple dumpling dessert we were eating. When the waitress brought our check, she smiled and said…thanks again “And oh btw, the manager said the dessert is on the house.” Then upon leaving Marlene (oh yeah I got her name) met us and gave me a hug… LHM! One little act of kindness…….. In the breakdown of all the things love is and is not, in 1 Cor. 13 verse 4 made it clear that love is kind!….The definition is simple: The quality of being friendly, generous and considerate. A smile, a thank you, a word of encouragement goes a long way…….Courtesy cost nothing. Of all the things we as Christians should portray, it should be kindness!…….Changing someones world could start with a smile and a kind word…..Never underestimate ……………..THE POWER OF KINDNESS……………..
