THE POWER OF VISION.-- Seeing Beyond the Present. So confident - TopicsExpress

THE POWER OF VISION.-- Seeing Beyond the Present. So confident and majestic did he walk on this road never tread before. Evading the many dish of dirty water that lie on the passage way. Jimo felt in control of the game. His goal was to get to the other end of the road- a dryer ground. But to his bewilderment, just before reaching his goal lies a large pool of mud water and he never saw it coming- no road. Looking at his far left was a young girl whom they both started together. She was careful and calculative while Jimo matched on with the gusto of a soldier on a mission. He never saw beyond the horizon. And what next... Yeah, to go back and chart her course- the right path to the end. The scenario above is tantamount to life itself. Many times we take decisions only with a tiny knowledge of the present; seeing only the immediate success and blinded by the brick walls of instant pleasures; thus we fall easily to unexpected challenges. By the pen of Helen Keller, The most pathetic person is the one with sight but without vision. The holy writ further substantiate that where there is no vision the people perish. VISION is not a dream, it is a REALm reserved only for those REAL men and women who despite the challenges of the present are not swayed by the phantasmagoria of common enterprise that present itself with no effort. Vision is for the leader, the Odysseus of lifes journeys who knows exactly what is to come and is willing to apply the honour of hardwork to actualize an intended future. They see the glory of the future while others revel in the euphoria of the present. They are the gods of fate and time whom by devine wisdom mixes the two to obtain exactly the seen future. Only few things take them unawares- theyve seen it coming. Aha! We will need the google of wisdom, the spectacle of focus and the binoculars of foresight if we are to succeed in this age of speed. By the power of your mind, imagine yourself living in tomorrow, next year and maybe 5 years from this moment... What do you see? what roads have you passed? what challenges have you met? Answering those questions will present a guiding compass in navigating the forest of time that leads to that great end in the motion of things not yet achieved. #Till we meet at the podium of honour... Keep running!#
