THE PROPHETS DEATH One nyt, shortly after his return 2 Medinah, d prophet (pbuh) woke up at midnight n ask his servant Abd Allah 2 saddle his mule. They den left d house n went 2 d Baqial-Gharqad, d burial ground of d Muslims. There d prophet (pbuh) stood in d front of d graves n, as thought he could see d Muslims buried in them, spoke 2 them n prayed over them. Later, Abd Allah reported, The prophet(pbuh) told me dat he was ordered 2 pray 4 deed n dat I was to go with him. After d prophet (pbuh) had prayed he turned 2 Abd Allah n said, I can choose btwn all d richest of dis world a long lyf n den paradise, or meeting my Lord n entering paradise now. Abd Allah begged him 2 choose a long, rich lyf, followed by paradise, but d prophet (pbuh) told him dat he had already chosen 2 meet his Lord now rather than remain in d world. The following morning d prophet (pbuh) awoke with a terrible headache, but despite dis he had led d prayers at d Mosque. frm wat he said afterwards 2 d ppl assembled there, they understood dat his death was near. D prophet (pbuh) praised his best frnd, Abu Bakr, who had begun 2 weep, n told every1 dat he knew they would all meet again at a pool in paradise. He added, however dat although he was sure they will always worship Allah alone, he feared that d pleasures of d world would attract them, n they would begin 2 compete with 1 another 4 material possessions, 4getting spiritual things . Soon after d prophet (pbuh) requested dat he be moved 2 d room of Aisha, 1 of his wives. As d days passed his fever grew worse, untill 1 day he was so ill dat he could not even get 2 d Mosque, which was next 2 where Aisha lived. The prophet (pbuh) told Aisha 2 tell d Muslims 2 let Abu Bakr, her Father, lead d prayer, which made dem very sad 4 dis was d first time any1 had taken d prophets place. my frnd 2 b continued insha Allahu rabbi
