The following positions are to be elected; PRESIDENT VICE PRESIDENT x 2 COMMITTEE MEMBERS up to 7 All nomination forms are available on the Notice Board table located at the Farrer Place Clubhouse or on request to the General Manager. Once your nomination is completed please lodge your form into the Ballot Box supplied. All nominations will be listed on the received nomination notice, located on the Notice Board in Farrer Place. All nominations close on the Saturday 31st January 2015 at 5.00pm. Should the number of nominations received exceed the requirement a ballot shall be conducted and administered by RSM Bird Cameron representatives at the AGM. Section 4.7 of the Deed of Company Arrangement executed by the Club provides that “The Deed Administrators shall have power subject to the registered Clubs Act to remove from office a director of the Company and appoint a person as director of the Company whether to fill a vacancy or not”. 2. The Registered Clubs Amendment (Limitation of Number of Members) Regulation 2014 commenced on 22 August 2014. This regulation, reduces the maximum number of directors to nine. A Special Resolution will be proposed at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting to reduce the number of directors from ten (10) to nine (9) in accordance with this regulation. 3. Article 39 (a) of the Memorandum and Articles of Association requires nominations to be provided in writing signed by two Bowling members or Life members of the Club and signed by the nominee and be delivered to the secretary at least twenty one (21) days before the date of the Annual General Meeting. The proposer, seconder and nominee shall be financial members of the Club at the time the nomination form is signed.
