**** THE REAL STORY **** This dog named Polar was shot in Sedalia Ky this week and everyone is blaming Kelly Brinkmeier and saying that he was in the wrong for shooting this dog. The dog was not taken care of, it was always roaming the neighborhood and was almost ran over on many occasions. It never had a collar, chain, leash, or a kennel but the family claims that the dog was always put up. There are plenty of witnesses that can prove that this dog was not cared for the way it should have been. This dog had slept on my porch so many nights and no one ever came looking for him. It looked as if it was rarely fed, and was never brushed. My family used to breed these dogs and I know that this dog was extremely under weight for its size. He also had clumps of hair that were so matted that they could not be brished loose. I tried to find the owners of this dog multiple times and no one came forward. Polar had attacked two of my dogs on a few occasions over the past month and I have witnessed Polar attacking the Brinkmeiers dog also. So before everyone goes and signs this petition to put this man out of work, just think of the facts. Is it really justice to have a man fired for protecting his own family pet? The details of this story have been twisted by the family that owned Polar. I was at Bob and Anns market for about an hour just listening to how their story changed every time someone asked about what happened. If they really cared for their pet they would have noticed he was gone before someone had to mention it to them. This dog was not taken care of by his owners and if they would have taken the responsibility for their own pet this would not have happened.
