The conscious has within it an awareness when our mind is awoke our minds interpret what is going on so we see what is good and what is bad based on our mind and what our thought process tells us. Our subconscious tells us what goes on it works with our conscious state of mind so imagine how much knowledge we feed our minds with the word of God our subconscious would be getting filtered by the wisdom that comes from the word of God this is what keeps our mind strong and vigilant and sharp so the individual is more aware and more alert of what is going on and therefore able to make better decisions.
