THE RETURN OF THE STOLEN MANDATE IS THE BEST OPTION. Maku must - TopicsExpress

THE RETURN OF THE STOLEN MANDATE IS THE BEST OPTION. Maku must quit straining to absolve and exonerated himself from what have become historical facts. It is better as he is growing older involves in politics, it would be better to come clean with Eggon nation so that history would be kinder to him. Presently Maku is suffering from psychological torment for so many evil deeds he perpetrated in his democracy journey. He is in need of emotional purification. The return of Mathew Ombugaku mandate is the ideal thing to do before he failed in his governorship bid as that will spell dumb for him and his family. As one of believer of our oneness and unify Eggon nation, I cant help but be interested in the politics of my ethnic group in all its dimensions. Its for Maku attitude that the recently concluded PDP primaries in the state would have in eggon nation weeping inconsably for the lost of glaring and golden opportunity just because one person in the name of Labaran Maku jettison every attempts on consensus discussions by Eggon elders, friends and PDP leadership. It is obviously glaring we were heading for failure yet this same Maku stood his ground. The two strong contenders in Eggon nation and possibly in the whole state came into the race as senior and junior brothers. Had it been Maku agreed for consensus the duo would have garnered enough votes to trounce their closest rivals. Maku refused and shunned the path of pragmatism. He forgot the common wise saying that two heads are better than one, and that when two or more men urinate in unison on the same spot they achieve a rich fertile ground for better yield. The duo would have had a formidable force, but its now a mirage that would remain elusive for a long time. A formidable duo now has become two miserable migrants fighting for political relevance. The most painful aspect of it all is Maku refusal completely to even sit with Ewuga for consensus discussion as brothers. Now we called all that as by gone and we claimed its a mistake which we hope to avoid its re-occurance. It is obvious that Maku hasnt learnt and he is not willing to learn because of arrogance. He doesnt listen to any body except himself, he often talk to himself instead of talking to people. To me, the only course in this life that is worth dying for is the truth in me, speak the truth without fear or favour because truth helps in maintaining sanity and in it is the promise of salvation arising from that. As to whether politics is a do or die affair, I see it more as a vacation and a call to serve, and if its a call to serve then who is calling Maku? Who do you want to serve, if Maku is called to serve he wouldnt engaged himself in hijacking of other peoples legitimate mandate. No body call Maku but he called himself to serve himself and not the core interest of the masses. Why must Maku impose himself on the people by hijacking some ones mandate from the back-door? As Maku sees politics as do or die to the extend of betraying the whole Eggon nation by refusing consensus and by extension hijacked Mathew Ombugaku mandate whom the eggon nation elders drilled and endorsed call for more caution on Maku. Maku as a nomadic fulani needs psychological evaluation. Maku specialises in mortgaging and compromising the core interest of eggon nation and have subsequently made the future bleak for the coming generations, the situation is becoming continuously dangerous. If he refused to put a stop the future consequences will be vicious. The question is; is it that eggon nation lacks mentors or that Maku has become an overgrown child of circumstance that cant be course by elders. The elders needs to pronounce some course on Maku since he is too stubborn and disrespect them unabated. Return the stolen mandate, apologise, then ask for forgiveness. The apology claimed he tendered was a desperate one just for the fact that he is soliciting for votes, what happens after the voting is the greatest concern. He cant get block votes in Eggon nation come rain come sun, because people are now divided and the unity now becomes a shattered dream. Maku is working for APC because he cant win and votes splitting with PDP will give room for APC to win. Before the chorus is Solomon Ewuga and Labaran Maku problem, now can we say its Mathew Ombugaku and Labaran Makus problem? Maku will never change until we collectively say no to his actions. Return the stolen mandate is the more honourable to do.
