THE SECOND TRUMPET (excerpt from my newest book, A Revolutionary Look at the Revelation) 8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were, a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; 9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed. There is yet another, recent fulfillment of this prophecy—one that indicates that the second trumpet may have sounded. Friday, March 11, 2011, the fifth most powerful earthquake of all time, a 9.0 magnitude, undersea “megathrust,” rocked the island nation of Japan, sending a 133 foot- high wall of water inland, destroying everything in its path for miles, including the Nuclear Power Station at Daiichi. Authorities did all they could to confine the radiation leakage and prevent a “China Syndrome” meltdown. They were not successful. On July 22, 2013, more than two years after the incident, it was revealed that the plant is leaking radioactive water into the Pacific Ocean, something long suspected by local fishermen and independent investigators.[27]... On August 20, in a further incident, it was announced that 300 tonnes (300 long tons; 330 short tons) of heavily contaminated water had leaked from a storage tank. The water was radioactive enough to be hazardous to nearby staff, and the leak was assessed as Level 3 on the International Nuclear Event Scale.[29][30] On August 26, the government decided to take over running the emergency measures to tackle the radioactive water leaks, reflecting a lack of confidence in TEPCO.[31] en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fukushima_Daiichi_nuclear_disaster And then this appeared just the other day... Sailor: “After we left Japan, it felt as if the ocean itself was dead” — Nothing alive for over 3,000 miles — No longer saw turtles, dolphins, sharks, birds — Saw one whale, it appeared helpless with big tumor on head. The next leg of the long voyage was from Osaka to San Francisco and for most of that trip the desolation was tinged with nauseous horror and a degree of fear. “After we left Japan, it felt as if the ocean itself was dead,” [Newcastle, Australia yachtsman Ivan] Macfadyen said. “We hardly saw any living things. We saw one whale, sort of rolling helplessly on the surface with what looked like a big tumour on its head. It was pretty sickening. “I’ve done a lot of miles on the ocean in my life and I’m used to seeing turtles, dolphins, sharks and big flurries of feeding birds. But this time, for 3000 nautical miles there was nothing alive to be seen. ”In place of the missing life was garbage in astounding volumes. [...]And something else. The boat’s vivid yellow paint job, never faded by sun or sea in years gone past, reacted with something in the water off Japan, losing its sheen in a strange and unprecedented way. [...]There have been several similar reports about wildlife around the Pacific, including sardines, seals, sea lions, polar bears, sea stars, turtles, salmon, herring, coral and more.
