THE SILVER LINING Another exhausting day, and were trying to find a positive from everything that has happened. Well, we do have one. We as stakeholders have outstanding relationships with news media. We can always count on reporters to tell our side of the story. Today was a good example. It started with a national story from Bloomberg News about our pension crisis. An hour later, we learned about Rep. Stumbos plans to introduce a bill allowing a bond issue for KTRS. We of course recognized this as an opportunity to make our case for funding. So we responded immediately with a media statement that has been widely publicized in outlets such as the Herald-Leader and the Courier-Journal. So, the silver lining is that our public messaging is very efficient, agile, and pervasive. Enough. Weve thrown a LOT at you today. We are concerned sometimes about information overload, but circumstances dictate content. Well resume tomorrow. Pay attention to your pension.
