THE STATE OUR COUNTRY IS IN (A Poem by Joe Esposito) The Stock Market is crashing. A reminder of 1929? Our America is crumbling and this is not a very good sign Elected officials are bailing out. Many are deciding not to run If only we could get rid of each and every damn one We had a SOTU address. It was uninspiring as can be And this from our President who supposed to be good at oratory We so want to have him impeached but the House lacks testosterone If only we could get rid of him. This man with a pen and a phone There he was again. How many times is this man on TV?? In a ten minute interview this President obfuscates repeatedly To each and every question he finds a way to scold FOX NEWS This and his incessant lying is something we all cannot excuse Never have we had a President this thin skinned and so lawless To any of his adminstrations wrongdoing he will never confess Weve come to the edge of a clff and the fall is so very steep And we have a President who couldnt give a flying bleep!
